hEllo!my name is rebecca.
Hi there, my name is Rebecca, I’m an illustrator living in the beautiful city of Florence, Italy.
Currently, I create all of my work in my cute little home where you’ll find me sat at a desk with old paint tubes, mismatched mugs of pencils and brushes, treasures collected on walks, and a half-drank cup of tea that’s probably gone a bit cold by now. I grew up drawing tirelessly from the moment I could hold a crayon.
After studying Cultural Heritage and Art in Venice, I lived and worked in a Children’s Book Museum in Japan for a whole year. In the last two years I focused a large part of my activity on creating art workshops for children in Florence, Bologna and Rome. I also studied editorial illustration.
I always loved illustration, movie, writing, book and art, everything that’s suitable to tell a story and one day I hope I will be able to tell my own stories. I enjoy drawing illustration that evoke a sense of nostalgia, timeless environment and characters, with strong and bright colors. My desire is to do what I love for live.
Most of my process and works are shared on my Instagram page. So if you want to be up to date with my art I‘d love to have you accompany me on my creative journey there! :)
